Funeral services for Harold (Moses) Tempel, 63, of the Kamrar-Webster City community, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with Kurt Johanson officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery at Kamrar.

Mr. Tempel died Thursday morning at Trinity Regional hospital in Fort Dodge.

Harold Tempel, son of Joe and Hilka Welp Tempel, was born Nov. 2, 1920 at Kamrar and was educated in that community.

He was married Feb. 15, 1946 to Wilma Carpenter at Kamrar, and the couple farmed near Kamrar for 20 years. They then moved into Kamrar and was employed by McCollough's, Inc. For the past 10 years, the couple had resided in Webster City. Mr. Tempel had retired because of poor health in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter: Harold of Des Moines, Larry Tempel and Mrs. John (Sharon) Winkler, both of Webster City; eight grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters: Mrs. Harry (Katie) Hassebrock, Mrs. Margaret Arends, Virgil Tempel and Joey Tempel, all of Jewell; Mrs. Gaylord (Dorothy) Hoversten of Kamrar, Richard Tempel and Mrs. Francis (Naomi) Park, both of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and two brothers.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Kamrar.
