Minnie Tapper Dead at 82

Minnie Tapper, 82, longtime resident of Liberty township, died at 4:45 Sunday afternoon following an illness of several years.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 at the Foster funeral home with J. Rewverts of Creston officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian cemetery east of Kamrar.

Minnie Tapper, daughter of Jan H. and Hilka Tapper, was born Feb. 2, 1866 in Germany. She was educated and reared in Germany and in 1866 came with her parents to the United States. They located on a farm in Liberty township where she had made her home since.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two brothers, Joe Tapper of Buffalo Center, and Jake Tapper who lives on the home place eight and one-four miles southeast of Webster City. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
