Webster City Freeman, Monday, May 16, 1921

Leaves a Widow and Nine Children to Mourn his Death

Henry D. Tapper for almost 33 years a resident of Hamilton county died Thursday evening at his farm home, southeast of the city. He became ill the week before, death being caused by pneumonia. Mr. Tapper was forty-nine years of age.

The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Tapper home and short services were also held in the Presbyterian church east of Kamrar. Interment was made in the Presbyterian cemetery near Kamrar.

Besides his widow [Cora Adelia Koop whom he married in 1896], Mr. Tapper leaves nine children to mourn his death - John Tapper and Mrs. Harry Arnold who reside on farms near the city, and the Misses Jennie, Hilka, Rena and Cora Tapper and Jans, Henry and Edwin Tapper, all of whom reside on the home place. His father. J. K Tapper, of this city, and the following sisters and brothers also survive: John Tapper of Kossuth county and Harm Tapper, Jake Tapper, Mrs. Karl Klooster and Miss Minnie Tapper, all of whom reside near this city.
