MRS. TAPPER DIED SUNDAY

Funeral Services to be Held Wednesday at Kamrar Church

Mrs. Harm Tapper, Sr., 74, died Sunday morning at her home, eight and one-half miles southeast of this city, following an illness of ten days.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Presbyterian church, east of Kamrar, preceded by a brief service at the farm home at 1 o'clock, the Rev. H. F. Sinning officiating. Burial in the Presbyterian cemetery.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seede (?) Von Heiden, Antje Von Heiden was born April 15, 1871 on a farm east of Ackley. In that community, she received her education and grew to young womanhood.

March 13, 1902 she was married to Harm Tapper and they set up housekeeping at the farm home near Kamrar which Mr. Tapper had purchased two years earlier and where they had since resided.

Mrs. Tapper was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Mrs. Hilka Luppes of Kamrar; Anna Tapper, this city; Jennie Tapper, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Etta Sherman, this city; Sye and Harm, both of this city. There are also five grandchildren.

The following brothers and one sister also survive: Mrs. Hilka Miller, Cobus Von Heiden, Joe Von Heiden, all of Ackley and Hans Von Heiden of Sheffield.

Baptized in the Lutheran faith, Mrs. Tapper had been a member of the Kamrar Presbyterian church. She was a good mother, beloved in the family circle, and a kindly neighbor, making many friends during her long and useful life in the Kamrar community. She will be greatly missed and long remembered by these many friends, as well as by her family.
