Mrs. Jenny J. Naber, 83, longtime Kamrar resident, died at 9:51 p.m. Sunday at the Story City hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 4. She had been in ill health the past year.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian church east of Kamrar, preceded by a brief service at 1:30 p.m. at her home in Kamrar.

The Rev. Harold F. DeVries will officiate, and burial will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at which time it will be taken to her home in Kamrar.

Jenny J. Koop, daughter of John J. and Harriet Koop, was born April 17, 1874, on a farm in Blackhawk county, Iowa. When she was a small girl, she moved with her parents to a farm east of Kamrar, where she was reared and educated.

She was united in marriage April 17, 1892, to Peter Luppes, and to this union two sons were born, Johnnie K. Luppes of Jewell, and Harm P. Luppes, who preceded her in death in 1953. Mr. and Mrs. Luppes farmed east of Kamrar until her husband's death in 1897.

She was later united in marriage to Cornelius Naber, who preceded her in death in 1949. For the past 37 years she had made her home in Kamrar.

She is survived by one son, Johnnie K. Luppes; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, John J. Koop, Kamrar; seven stepchildren, Mrs. Grace Vandeventer, Mountain Home, Ark., Mrs. Lena Peterson, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Ollie B. Klaver, Kamrar, Gerit C. Naber, Iowa Falls, William Naber and Ole Naber, both of Webster City, and Mrs. Anna Janes, Alden; and a number of step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Naber was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Harm P. Luppes; her parents; one sister, Mrs. Henry Tapper, and one grandson, who died in infancy.

Mrs. Naber was a member of the Presbyterian church east of Kamrar.
