Kamrar Man Was Mowing Lawn a Few Minutes Before Death.

SERVICE AT KAMRAR

KAMRAR, Iowa, June 8 - N. G. Fonken, 60, died suddenly at his home in Kamrar yesterday afternoon.

He had seemed to be in his usual good health in the morning and after breakfast, he walked down town. In the afternoon he started to mow the lawn. Sometime later he complained of pains in his chest and jaws. He also noticed an aching sensation in his arms and legs.

He called his sister, Miss Anna Fonken, with whom he made his home, and she helped him to a chair on the porch. He rested there a few minutes and then went in the house to lie down. Within a brief time Miss Fonken noticed that he was sleeping soundly. She called her niece, Miss Stella Van Langen, but when she arrived Mr. Fonken had died.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 o'clock at the Kamrar Presbyterian church. The Rev. H. F. Sinning will officiate. Fleenor's in charge.

Mr. Fonken, who was never married, is survived by three sisters and two brothers: Miss Anna, Mrs. Thomas Van Langen and Mrs. A. T. Arends, all of Kamrar; Joe Fonken, of Kamrar and Harm G. Fonken, of Kansas City.

Mr. Fonken was born in Butler county and with the exception of a short time when he lived in Webster City, he made his home on his farm four miles southeast of Kamrar and in Kamrar.
