Funeral services for Abel G. Barth, 77, of Kamrar, longtime area resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar with Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 Friday morning when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. Barth died Tuesday morning at Mary Greeley hospital where he had been a patient for two days.

Abel G. Barth, son of Johann and Katherine Barth, was born Jan. 7, 1899, at Kamrar where he was reared and educated.

On March 22, 1927, he was united in marriage to Dena Naber, and the couple farmed near Kamrar for many years.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Norman Barth of Kamrar.

He is also survived by one brother, Alex Barth of Kamrar. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Barth was a member of the First Presbyterian church, where he had served as an elder of the church.
