FOUND DEAD IN HIS AUTOMOBILE

L. M. Crosley, Well Known Over Hamilton County, Found Dear Near Hubbard

HAD HEART FAILURE

Body Found in his car on a Side Road Near the Town

JEWELL, Iowa, July 7 (Special) - L. M. Crosley, formerly in the drug business here and at Randall and who was widely known over Hamilton county, was found dead in his auto near Hubbard Monday morning. He was alone and had died very suddenly from heart trouble, with which he had been afflicted for some years.

Mr. Crosley was in the drug business at Randall for many years. After selling out there he was in the land business for a time and later he and O. G. Nelson, of Ellsworth, formed a partnership and handled land business and a drug store in Jewell, which they sold some two years ago to J. W. Grieves.

Mr. Crosley is survived by a wife [Edith] and two children, three sisters and a brother. Mrs. Jos. Lohrman, of Jewell, is a sister.

The Crosley family were living at Lawn Hill. Since selling the drug store in Jewell, Mr. Crosley had been a traveling salesman for the Mormon Stock company, of Nevada.

Mr. Crosley left his home at Lawn Hill at 1:30 o'clock Monday morning to drive to Manchester. When half a mile from Hubbard, he had turned into a side road, turned out his lights and then had apparently been stricken with heart trouble and had died instantly. The body was found later in the morning by passing motorists.

While widely known in southern Hamilton county, he was also well known in the northern part. He was a relative of the Best families in Webster City and was 50 years of age. The funeral will be held at Lawn Hill on Thursday and burial made in the cemetery there. [New Providence Cemetery, New Providence, Hardin Co., Iowa]
