Mrs. Ella Huehn, 63, died at noon Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dale Short, 1403 Superior street. Her death was very sudden although she had been ill for several years with asthma.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster funeral home. The Rev. C. W. Dehne will officiate. Burial will be at Rockford, Iowa.

Ellen Schmidt, daughter of Andrew and Wilhelmina Schmidt, was born July 28, 1892 in Rockford, Iowa. She received her education and grew to young womanhood in that community.

She was united in marriage to John Behm at Rockford, later moving to Mason City where Mr. Behm preceded her in death. She later moved to Webster City where she was united in marriage to Edward Huehn.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Eileen) Short; three grandchildren, Mrs. Deon Lentz, Dennis Dale Short and Daryl Charles Short, all of Webster City; one great-grandson, Lanny Leon Lentz of Webster City; and one sister, Mrs. V. L. Mosher of Rockford.

She was preceded in death by one son, who died in infancy, by her parents and one sister.

Mrs. Huehn was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church.
