Services for Helen F. Whitty, 86, of Webster City, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Webster City. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Clarion.

Mrs. Whitty died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998 at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.

Foster Funeral Home, Webster City, is in charge of arrangements.

She was employed as catalog manager at Montgomery Wards and Co., Webster City, and later at Woodard Feeds and Berry Hardware until 1987.

Helen Koehler was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Webster City. She married Francis Whitty in 1937 in Webster City. The couple farmed in Hamilton and Wright counties. He died in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Del Ciello, Janesville, Wis.; a son, Dennis, Bettendorf; four grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Stoner, Prairie City, Irene Brisnehan, Denver, and Lucille Harmon, Ellisville, Mo.
