H. H. WEPEL, 66, IS DEAD

Lifelong Resident of County Drops Dead at His Farm Home.

Heiko H. Wepel, 66, a lifelong resident of Hamilton county, dropped dead at his farm home seven miles south of here last evening about 6:30 o'clock. Death was caused by a heart ailment.

Mr. Wepel had not been seriously ill although he had been in rather poor health. He had been doing the farm work as usual and was sitting down in a chair after supper when the heart attack occurred.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. J. J. Share officiating; burial in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Wepel was born on a farm south of here Feb. 11, 1872. He was married April 24, 1899, to Miss Tillie Huisinga who survives him. He also leaves seven children: Mrs. Fred Nelson, Ellsworth; Mrs. Oscar Hanson, this city; George M., this city; John R., Woolstock; Albert H., Stanhope; Robert and Gladys, at home. One brother, John, lives at Kamrar, and two sisters, Mrs. R. A. Lewis and Rosie Wepel, live in Webster City. One child died in infancy.
