Daryl Frye, 42, Webster City, died Jan. 26, 1996 at the Hamilton County Public Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral home, with Craig Miller officiating. Burial will be at Cass Cemetery, north of Webster City. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Tuesday, until the time of services.

Daryl Dean Frye, son of Gerald and Charlotte Kepler Frye, was born June 2, 1953 in Webster City. He attended Webster City schools, graduating in 1972. He had been employed at Meredith Publishing in Des Moines for 10 years and most recently was employed at the Daily Freeman-Journal. He had retired because of failing health.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Johnson, Webster City; sister, Carol Yeager, Williams; brothers, David, Dayle and Doyle Frye, all of Webster City, Don Johnson, Kamrar, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
