Elizabeth Farnham, 85 of Webster City, died early today, Sept. 17 at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of services.

Elizabeth Janet Allen, daughter of Mark and Annie Anderson Allen, was born Nov. 15, 1901 at Marietta, Minn. She graduated from High School there. On August 9, 1927, she married Harold G. Farnham at Marietta. The couple moved to LaMoille where they lived one year. They moved to Webster City in 1928.

She was preceded in death by her husband in March of 1957. Mr. Farnham was a longtime Webster City barber. Since his death, she has resided in Webster City.

Survivors are two sons and one daughter-in-law - Donald of Los Angeles, Jerry and Gwen Farnham; of Webster City; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Upton of Marietta, Minn. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She was a member Grace United Methodist Church.
