Harold G. Farnham, widely known Webster City businessman, died suddenly at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton county hospital where he had been a patient the past four days. His death was attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at (unreadable) p.m. Wednesday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. C.W. Dehne officiating and with burial at Graceland cemetery.

Harold George Farnham, son of George and Sarah Farnham, was born March 3, 1902 on a farm near Madison, Minn. He received his education at Madison and grew to young manhood in that community.

He received his barber training at the barber college in Sioux City, Iowa, and was employed as a barber at Marietta, Minn. for one year.

He was united in marriage August 9, 1927, to Elizabeth Janet Allen, and following their marriage the Farnhams moved to LaMoille, Iowa, where they resided for one year. They moved then to Webster City, where Mr. Farnham was employed at the former Milo Foster barber shop, a position he held until 1936, when he purchased the former Merle Williams barber shop in the Webster Theater building. He had owned and operated the shop since that time.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Donald Farnham of Hayward, Calif. and Kenneth (Jerry) Farnham of Webster City; four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Harry (Hazel) Wallsmith of Madison, Minn., Mrs. Leslie (Georgia) Sarff of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Edgar (Ruth) Passwaters of Webster City, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Riggs of Seoul, Korea, and C. Curtis Farnham of San Diego.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Farnham was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church and the Elks lodge and was president of the Hamilton County Saddle club.
