Milo (Mike) Olson, 85, of Randall died November 3, 1993 at Bethany Manor Nursing Home in Story City, IA., from complications of cancer.

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 5, 1993 at Elim Lutheran Church in Randall with the Rev. John Wogsland officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Randall. IA. Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Milo Olson, the son of Martin and Belle (Egland) Olson was born December 22, 1907 at Randall, IA. He was a lifetime resident of Randall and farmed and operated a corn shelling business. He retired in 1985.

On July 19, 1939 he married Bernice M. Anderson. They were the parents of four sons. Mike was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Randall, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 6, 1988; one grandson, Benjamin Olson, 3 brothers, Floyd Olson, Clarence Olson, Archie Olson and 3 sisters, Myra Affalter, Genora Larson and Grace Jacobson.

He is survived by his sons, James Olson of Ames, IA., Joel Olson and William Olson of Randall; Michael Olson of Denver, Colo; 1 brother, Clifford Olson of Story City; 1 sister Beatrice Greiman of Jewell, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
