Lorraine Winifred was born February 24, 1918 at Des Moines, IA. to Melvin and Hannah (Alvestad) Hanson. Her parents lived in the Rose Grove and Randall area when she was young, moving to Des Moines in 1929 where she lived until she was married. She graduated in 1936 from North High School in Des Moines.

She was married to Wayne Hadley and they were the parents of two children, Terry and Judy.

Lorraine lived for a number of years in Story City and had many friends there. In May of 2002 she moved to Tulsa, OK. and for the past few years has been living with her daughter, Judy Hendricks, as she was a victim of alzheimers.

Lorraine died February 4, 2008. Services were held in Tulsa on Feb. 7, and her body brought to Randall and laid to rest beside her parents in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Randall.

She leaves to mourn her daughter, Judy and husband, Robert of Tulsa and a son, Terry and his wife, Rita of Dennison, TX.
