Funeral service for Mrs. Olger Lenning, 75, were held Monday, March 25 at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church here with the Rev. R.D. Ehlers officiating. Soderstrum-Larson funeral home in charge. Burial was in Mt. Olive cemetery in Randall.
Mrs. Lenning passed away at the Story City hospital Friday morning about 8:40 following several heart attacks.
Erma Hanson was born in Randall, October 24, 1897. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Hanson. She was baptized and confirmed at Elim Lutheran church there.
In 1916 she was married to Adolphus Paggett and seven children were born to this union, two preceded her in death, Lola Ione at the age of 7 years and Adolphus, Jr at the age of 25. Five children survive, Donald Paggett of Lubbock, Texas, Mrs. Chris (Violet) Tjernagel, of Willmar, Minn.; Mrs. Merlin (Betty) Doolittle of Story City; Bill Paggett of Waterloo and Larry Paggett of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Also two step-children, Olger Lenning Jr. and Mrs. Porter (Lela) Quam both of Story City. Mrs. Paggett married Olger B. Lenning, Sr., in June 1944. He also survives.
Two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Anderson of El Cerrito, California and Mrs. Cora Anderson of Ellsworth also survive along with 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lenning was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.
Mrs. Roger Cammack was organist at the service and pallbearers were Albert Holt, Milo Olson, Al Froning, Orlin Hanson, Myron Gere and Jeffrey Carpenter.
