Della Eslick, 93, Webster City, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000 at Southfield Care Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Foster Funeral home with Rev. Terry Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the McGuire Bend Cemetery near Dayton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home.

Della Marie Draper, daughter of Walter and Clara Mills Draper, was born Sept. 9, 1906 at Angus, IA. She was educated at Dayton. On Oct. 22, 1927, she married Claris Edwin Eslick at Lehigh. The couple farmed for several years near Dayton. In 1947, they moved to Kamrar where they owned and operated a grocery store. During the 1950's, they resided in several communities in Wisconsin, where Mr. Eslick served as a pastor for the Free Methodist Churches. In 1963, they moved to Webster City. Mr. Eslick died Dec. 22, 1964. For many years, she worked as a seamstress and later worked at Deluxe Cleaners in Webster City until her retirement. She had been a resident at Southfield Care Center since April of 1999.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Audrey Eslick, Webster City, Lowell and Nina Eslick of Acworth, GA., daughters and sons-in-law, LaVonne and Glen Claude of Vincent, Neva Masche of Rio, WI., Paula and Scott Sherk of Webster City; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gerhardt Masche.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Wisconsin, and the Calvary Baptist Church in Webster City.
