Mrs. Herman Seiser, 68, longtime resident of Hamilton county, died Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Hamilton county hospital where she had been a patient since last August. She had been in failing health the past two years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. A. E. Rau officiating and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Letha Mae Davis, daughter of Harrison and Mary Ann Davis, was born Feb. 4, 1889, in Webster City. She was reared and educated in this community and was united in marriage to Herman Seiser in 1911. The couple started housekeeping on a farm in Minnesota, living there for two years before moving to Webster City.

The Seisers farmed here for several years, then moved to Redfield, Iowa, where they farmed for two years. They later moved to a farm near Boone before returning to Webster City in 1931, their home since.

She is survived by her husband and six children: Mrs. Orville (Lorene) Handahl, William Seiser, Carl Seiser, Milton Seiser and Gerald Seiser, all of Webster City, and Howard Seiser, Greeley, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Fisher and Mrs. George Morgan, both of Webster City, and one brother, Ralph Davis, Waterloo, 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Seiser was a member of the United Brethren church.
