E.E. ANDERSON DIES AT HOME

Was Life Long Resident of County; Funeral to Be Monday

Emery E. Anderson, 83, a life long resident of Hamilton county, died at 10:30 p.m. yesterday at his home, 616 Dubuque street. Death was caused by complications which developed from a fall.

Mr. Anderson was born near Ellsworth, but attended the Webster City schools from which he was graduated.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster funeral home with burial at Ellsworth.

He leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Harley Bennett, of this city, and a son, Chime Anderson, of Verona, Ore. There are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family moved to this city from near Ellsworth Sept. 1, 1939. Mr. Anderson was born on a farm near Ellsworth, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. Ole Anderson, pioneer residents of that community. He was married in 1883, to Harriett Moore, who preceded him in death 35 years ago.

Oct. 19, 1911 he was married in Terry, Mont., to Mrs. Fannie Christian. They made their home in Ellsworth where Mr. Anderson was in the hardware business. He also farmed for several years.

He was a member of the Methodist church, the Masonic lodge and the Modern Woodmen of America.
