ALDEN - Funeral services are being planned here at the Methodist church for Mrs. Guy Cormaney, who died suddenly Friday afternoon at Williams.

Date of services has not yet been set, however, pending receipt of word from a son, William, who is now in Korea. Burial services will be in Iowa Falls. The Rev. E. J. Cass of Popejoy, assisted by the Rev. H. W. Faris of Alden, will officiate, and the Alden funeral home has charge of services.

Grace Ethel Myer, daughter of William and Anne Myer, was born Feb. 14, 1895 at Swaledale, Iowa. She was graduated from Iowa Falls high school and from Ellsworth college at Iowa Falls. After her graduation, she taught school at Rowan and Kamrar.

She was married March 22, 1918 to Guy Cormaney. Except for five years spent in the Williams community, Mr. and Mrs. Cormaney had since farmed in the Alden area.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Elmer, at home and William with the armed services; one daughter, Mrs. Merle Jaques of Alden; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. R. L. Daniels of Webster City, and a brother, V. H. Myer of Waterloo.

She was baptized in the Methodist faith and a member of the Methodist church.
