Obituary
Harry Bittner was born in New York, Nov. 13th, 1885, and died Feb. 25, 1900, aged 14 years, 3 month and 12 days. Harry was one of the New York boys brought to Webster City with several other children about ten years ago. Hiram Olmstead took Harry to raise. He kept him a year and a half, then Charles Young gave him a home where he resided until his death. Five weeks ago Harry was converted and united with the Homer Baptist church. His Christian life here was short, but we believe he has gone to be with his Saviour. Funeral services were held at the Homer Baptist church, after which the remains were laid in the Homer cemetery.
