Robert "Bob" Hudson, 89, long time Stratford, Iowa resident died peacefully on Thursday morning, November 20, 2014, at the Trinity Care Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Bob is survived by his children, Frank (Heidi) Hudson, Carolyn Hudson, Susan (Richard) Heathcote, Margaret (Luke) McCurdy, Mary (Keith) Leeds, Ruth (David) Hummel, and Martha (John) Doyle, 13 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday morning, November 24th at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Stratford with Pastor Brian McNamara officiating

Following services, the body will be cremated with interment in South Marion Cemetery south of Stratford at a later date.

Friends may call at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Stratford on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the family present during that time to greet friends. Visitations will continue on Monday morning at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's honor can be directed to the family for a scholarship to be established in Bob and Dorothy Hudson's memory.
