Mrs. Earl E. Warren, 38, died Thursday afternoon at the University Hospitals in Iowa City. She had been in ill health for several years, but more seriously ill the past week.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Heath officiating. Burial will be made in the Williams cemetery.

Shirley Mae Inks, daughter of Charles and Loretta Inks, was born July 4, 1927, on a farm near Buckeye, Iowa. When she was a small girl, she moved with her parents to Alden. She was graduated from Alden high school and grew to young womanhood in that community.

Following her graduation, she was employed at the former Forrester's Creamery in Webster City and later as a nurse's aid at Hamilton County hospital.

She was united in marriage May 4, 1947, to Earl E. Warren, and the couple had always since resided in Webster City. Since 1952, the family had lived at 543 Bank St.

Surviving are her husband and two sons, Earl Warren, Jr., and Joel Thomas Warren, both at home; her father, Charles Inks of Williams; one brother and two sisters, Jim Inks, Alden, Mrs. Cletus (Charlotte) Hoefer, Williams, and Mrs. Armin (Mary Lou) Schoen, Fort Worth, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, (unreadable).

Mrs. Warren was a member of the Methodist church.
