Mrs. Aletta King, 77, a longtime resident of the Kamrar community, died Friday afternoon at the Hamilton County hospital. She had been in ill health for many years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery near Kamrar.

Aletta Telkamp, daughter of Harm and Grace DeGroot, was born Jan. 19, 1895, near Kamrar, where she was reared and educated.

She was united in marriage Feb. 20, 1924, to Charles W. King, and the couple made their home on the King family farm near Kamrar.

Mr. King preceded her in death in 1955. Mrs. King continued to make her home on the family farm until moving to Crestview Manor two years ago.

She is survived by one son, Warren King of Kamrar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Louis; her parents and four brothers.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
