DEATH TAKES MRS. KING, 77

Funeral Services to Be Held at Blairsburg Congregational Church

Mrs. Louisa King, 77, widely known resident of this county, died at her home, five miles southwest of Blairsburg, last evening at 5:30 o'clock. She had been ill only since Saturday. Death was caused by pneumonia.

Funeral services will be held at the Congregational church at Blairsburg Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, preceded by a brief service at the home at 1 o'clock. The Rev. R. N. Culbertson, of Blairsburg, will officiate and burial will be made in the Liberty Center cemetery, south of Blairsburg. Foster's in charge.

Mrs. King is survived by three sons, Charles, Ed and Arthur, all of whom make their home on farms in the community in which their mother lived. There are also three brothers, George Elerding, of Long Beach, Calif.; William Elerding and Herman Elerding of Eldora; one sister, Mrs. Mary Rathburn, of Aken, Minn.; and five grandchildren. Her husband, John H. King, preceded his wife in death nine years ago.

Mrs. King was born in Hardin county. She was married in February, 1877 and with the exception of five years in Grundy county and one year in Minnesota, the family had made its home in Hamilton county. Mrs. King had been in fairly good health until Saturday.
