Dr. Jed W. Norris passed away on October 29th, 2010. At his request there will be no funeral services.

He was born in Atlantic, IA on January 18, 1931. Graduated from the Audubon, IA High School in 1949. He attended Parsons College in Fairfield, IA and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1957.

He served 7 years as a Regular Army Officer of the U.S. which included a 3 year tour of duty in Heidelberg, Germany. He served the communities of Audubon, Hubbard, Webster City, Stratford and Stanhope as a dentist.

He was united in marriage with Dorothy Priestley in Audubon in 1951. She survives in Stanhope, IA. One child Nancy Jo passed away in 1959. His son Jon (Rosa) Norris reside in Pensacola, FL. Their children: Jed Norris and Jasmine (Josh) Belcher of Pensacola, FL. His daughter Nila (Clayton) Zanker resides in Stanhope, IA. Their children: Garren (Cara) Zanker of Spirit Lake, IA, Ryan (Josie) Zanker of Geneseo, IL, Wes (Sam) Zanker of Stanhope, IA, Greg (friend Joy) Zanker of Denver, CO, and his 6 great-grandchildren. His sister Gloria resides in Hat Springs, Ak. and sister Fay lives in McFarland, WI.
