Patricia Hogan, 65, of Ackley, passed away Thursday at her home. Funeral services for Patricia Hogan will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Linn's Funeral Chapel in Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Linn's Funeral Home.

Patricia Hogan, 65, of rural Ackley, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at her home. Funeral services for Patricia Hogan will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 2nd at the Linn's Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Linn's Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Friends Cemetery, Iowa Falls.
Patricia Elaine Gardner was born April 17, 1945 in Polk County, Iowa, the daughter of Everett B. and Grace Marie [Hoisington] Gardener. She was married to James Hogan and they were later divorced. She was employed as a caretaker with mentally handicapped adults in several areas but her latest was in California for 12 years.
Patricia Hogan is survived by her children: Grace [Allan] Martin of Alva, Oklahoma, Robert [Mary] Eakin of Iowa Falls, Iowa, David Hogan of Ackley, Iowa, Alma Cervantes of Sacramento, California, Frank Hogan of Alva, Oklahoma, Roy Hogan of Waterloo, Iowa, Patrick Hogan of Ackley, Iowa; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Everett Gardner of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Larry Gardner of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and three sisters: Verna Ferguson of Worthington, Minnesota, Shirley Nase of Worthington, Minnesota, and Gloria Rogers of Alva, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Louis Rutzen; and two sisters: Lucille Paterni and Nola Jean.
