Shirley Schmidt, 73, of Webster City, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Tony Ede officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours before the funeral service.

Shirley is survived by son, Jack Osborn (Jane Felts) of Webster City; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; Sisters, Arlene Beightol of Webster City and Verna Peckinpaugh of Middletown, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Lyle.
