Thomas Delane Crovisier, age 68, formerly of Webster City and Fort Dodge, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. after a short illness. He was born December 20, 1941 at the Webster City Hospital and was the only child of Martin Crovisier and Beulah (Norman) Crovisier. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Tom graduated from Webster City Lincoln High School with the Class of 1959. He married Sherry Marshall of Fort Dodge in 1960 and they later divorced.

Tom began his vocation as salesman at an early age at Westervelt's Shoe Store in Webster City. Later he became Field Manager for Chief Industries in Fort Collins, Colo. and Sentrus Metal Buildings out of Nebraska. Tom also worked for many companies, including Boise Cascade, selling grain bins and industrial buildings until his retirement in 2006.

Tom enjoyed socializing with friends, reading and was a champion dart player. He was baptized at the Church of Christ in Webster City.

Tom was preceded in death by his father in 1957, his mother in 2001, and son-in-law, John Kelley.

He is survived by three children; daughters Kim (Scott) Blackburn of Broken Bow, Neb., Kelly Kelley of Loveland, Colo. and son Jeff Crovisier and wife Abby of Oxnard, Calif. Tom was blessed with seven grandchildren; Jason and Kevin of California; Megan, Chad, Nicole, Samantha and Alex all of Colorado plus five great-grandchildren. Tom leaves behind a special friend, Sue Boyle of Sioux City and many cousins including Darlene Dingman and Carolynn Miller of Webster City.
