Leighton Melanie Myers, daughter of Brian Myers and Kellie Young of West Des Moines, was stillborn Dec. 3, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She will be laid to rest close to her aunt, Melanie Young.

She is survived by her parents; sister, Kailey Myers; grandparents, Calvin and Barb Young of Webster City; Gary and Barbara Hayes of Orange County, CA; Craig Myers and Jo Wessling of Ankeny, great-grandparents, Woodrow and Betty Lou Myers of Boone; Gary Young of Webster City; and Dale and Juli Dencklau of Vincent. Leighton was preceded in death by her great-grandma, Gloria Young.

Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
