Marguerite Coursey, a longtime Webster City resident, died early Saturday, May 14, 2009, at Crestview Manor following a long illness. Services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Webster City. A visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 at Boman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Coursey was born April 28, 1906, on her parents' farm outside Wolsey, SD. Her parents were both Norwegian immigrants. Mrs. Coursey was a long time employee of Farmer's National Bank.

Mrs. Coursey is survived by her sister, Thea Indseth of Del Mar; Calif.; her daughter Marilyn Sorensen of Houston, Texas; her son-in-law, her four grandchildren, Paul Coursey Sorensen of Houston, Texas; Hyla of Ocean Springs, Miss.; Jacob Meyer of Portland, Ore.; and Zachary Meyer of Seattle, Wash.; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and John Sorensen of Houston, Texas; a nephew, Robert Indseth and his son, Eric, of San Diego, Calif.

Marguerite Coursey would want any memorials directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Webster City.
