Funeral services for Bonnie D. Hansel, Hubbard, will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 11 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams. Following the funeral service, Bonnie's body will be donated to the University of Iowa Anatomy Department.

The family will receive friends from 6 -8 pm on Tuesday at Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Bonita “Bonnie” Darlene Hansel was born on July 7, 1938 in Bassett, Iowa to Arnold and Leta (Bushbaum) Feaker.

Bonnie went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2007 at her home in Hubbard surrounded by her family.

Those remaining to uphold her memory include her husband Gerald of Hubbard, Iowa; her six children Toni Olson of West Des Moines, Iowa, Juli Meierotto of Davenport, Iowa, Ricki Dixon of Knobnoster, Missouri, Bobi Buchan of Omaha, Nebraska, Charles Dixon Jr. of Bettendorf, Iowa and Jason Dixon of Omaha, Nebraska; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister Clysta Echelberger of Kamrar, Iowa; four brothers Orville of Las Vegas, Nevada, Darrald of Prescott, Arizona, Bob of Long Island, New York and Gary of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Darla Finne and two brothers Arnold Jr. and Beryl Feaker.
