James Russell Shehorn, 80, Lincoln, Neb., died Monday, July 16, 2007. Services are Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with inurnment in Lincoln Memorial Park Veteran’s Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Tabitha Hospice, 4720 Randolph, Lincoln, Neb. or to the donor’s favorite American Legion Baseball team

Born in Woolstock, Iowa, he served in the Marine Corps and was a World War II and the Korean War veteran. Mr. Shehorn was a retired salesman. Survivors are his wife, Gretchen; sons, James, Tempe, Ariz., Russell, Leigh, Neb.; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother, Norma Rasmussen, Alan Shehorn, both of Webster City.
