Blanche Mourlam Lovelace, 87, of Webster City, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.

Blanche Mae Mourlam, daughter of Albert and Sophie Claude Mourlam, was born August 31, 1920 on a farm east of Woolstock. She attended Mourlam rural school and worked with her parents on the family farm. She was employed at the Hamilton Hospital in food service for 23 years, retiring in 1983. On May 21, 1990, she married Louis Larkin Lovelace, Sr. at Elkpoint, South Dakota. The couple resided at Webster City. She had resided at Crestview Senior Living since 2005.

Blanche is survived by a daughter, Norma Klaver of Apache Junction, AZ; grandchildren, Jolyn and John Winkler, and Michelle Klaver of Mesa, AZ.; great-grandson, Tyler Klaver; step-children, Louis and Craig Lovelace of Webster City; Larry Lovelace of Clutier, Tom Lovelace of Decatur, IL; Dave Lovelace of Puyallup, WA; Patty Brower of St. Louis, MO; 2 granddaughters; 16 step-grandchildren; a great-grandson; 11 step-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mervin and Dee Mourlam of Webster City.
