Mary Srigley Bruce, 66, died at her home in Fremont, Calif. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1941, in Webster City, to the late Arthur and Alice Srigley.

Mary worked with the Veteran’s Administration as a histologist in Denver, Colo. and later relocated to Palo Alto, Calif. to continue her career.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Deborah Michelson, Florida, her five grandchildren, Gary Schlewger, Colorado, Joseph Schlewger, Florida, Daniel Schlewger, Washington, Nathan and Gregory Mickelson, Virginia, and her two sisters, Patricia Wright of Colorado, and Marjorie Murphy of Webster City; several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Dick Srigley, and her parents. The family will observe a private graveside service.
