Charlotte A. Dinsdale, 89, of Southport, NC, formerly of Webster City, passed away on Monday, September, 10, 2007, at the Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, NC.

Her wishes were to be cremated.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 24, at 11:00 am at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, with Pastor Peter Peterson, Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Celebration Center at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. Serving the family is the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, in Fort Dodge, IA.

Survivors include- son- Bill Dinsdale and his wife Susan of Southport, NC; granddaughters- Pam Shisler and her husband Eric of Columbus, OH, Jill Dinsdale of Raleigh, NC; great grandchildren- Matt, Grant, and Caroline Shisler; and a brother– Bud Cole and his wife Frances of Fort Dodge, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents- Charles V. and Emma (Doshack) Cole; husband Maynard; sisters– Loretta Hotek and Viola Littsen.

Charlotte A. Cole was born on February 13, 1918, in Fort Dodge, IA. She attended schools in Fort Dodge and in Otho, IA. Following her education she was united in marriage to Maynard Dinsdale and the couple established their home in Webster City, IA. She was a homemaker for most of her life taking care of her family.
