Evalyn Warneke, 86, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Regency Healthcare. She was born June 3, 1921 in Webster City, Iowa to Harold and Carrie Carson Mills. She graduated from Webster City Iowa High School in 1939 and then Webster City Junior College in 1941. She was employeed by her father, Harold Mills as head bookkeeper for Zittereli Mills Co.

In 1945 she married Frederick Warneke and moved to Rockwell City, Iowa then to Louisville in 1998. Evalyn was a 50 year member of the order of the Eastern Star of Iowa, serving as Worthy Matron of the Elect Chapter and Grand Chapter of Iowa as istrict instructor and grand Representitive of Iowa to Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 51 years, Frederick and infant daughter, Mary Evalyn.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Susan Baxter; son-in-law, Charles Baxter; grandchildren, Richard Baxter (Joyce) and John Baxter (Karen) and seven great-grandchildren, along with many friends.

Funeral service 10:00 am, Tuesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa.

Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00- 8:00 pm.
