Joel Warren, 54, Webster City, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Willer officiating. There will be no burial of the cremains. Visitation is one hour before the service. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Joel Thomas Warren, son of Earl and Shirley Inks Warren, was born Sept. 12, 1952 at Webster City. He attended Webster City Schools, graduating in 1971. He was employed by Nissen and Sons Co. for several years as well as Webster City Roofing, and most recently Kenco Warehouse, all of Webster City. Joel retired due to failing health.

Joel is survived by his father, Earl Warren Sr., Webster City; brother Earl Warren Jr., Fort Dodge; nephew Stephen and wife Heidi Warren of Ankeny; and great-nephew and great-niece Matthew and Amanda Warren, Ankeny.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Warren in 1966.

Joel was baptized into the Methodist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
