Mary E. DeFoe, 65, of Webster City, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fosters Chapel in Webster City. There will be no burial ceremony.

Mary Esther Felan, daughter of Pedro and Margarita Zimmerlie Felan, was born May 25, 1941 in San Antonio, TX. She received her education in San Antonio. On December 1, 1960, she married Vicki Lee DeFoe in San Antonio. The couple later divorced.Mary and her family moved to Iowa in 1963. She lived the majority of her life in Webster City where she was employed by Electrolux for over 30 years. Throughout her life she was an active member of U.A.W. Local #442 Chapter. Mary was also active in the Women’s committee, volunteered for U-share, and participated in Relay For Life. She attended the First Baptist Church.

Mary DeFoe is survived by daughters, Priscilla and her husband, Kenny Thompson of Des Moines; Jennifer Reyna and her fiancé, Lyndon Dick of Wichita, KS; son, Victor John DeFoe of Forest City, AK; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Ayala, Helen Reneau and Blanche Felan; brothers, Arthur Felan, George Felan, Jesse Felan and Christopher Felan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Daniel Rae DeFoe, in infancy; 3 sisters and a brother.
