The body of Ted P. Arnold, 64, widely known Ducombe resident, was found shortly after midnight last night at Duncombe.

Dr. Robert Dunn of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Webster county medical examiner, said today the death was "apparently suicide," the body being found hanging near a storage bin at the south edge of Duncombe.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. I. O. Arnold of Montour, Iowa, officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Theodore P. Arnold, son of Theodore and Tina Atkins Arnold, was born June 13, 1900, on a farm near Kamrar. He received his elementary schooling in the Kamrar school and attended high school at Webster City.

He was united in marriage June 13, 1925, to Lillian Briggs and the couple farmed near Kamrar for several years, then moved to a farm near Buckeye. In 1930 Mr. and Mrs. Arnold moved to Duncombe where Mr. Arnold had owned and operated the Arnold Grain Co. since that time.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Theodore Arnold, Jr., of White Bear Lake, Minn; two grandsons, Bradley and Brian Arnold; one brother and four sisters, Harry Arnold of Kamrar, Mrs. John Tapper of Kamrar, Mrs. Jans Tapper of Hampton, Mrs. Alva Merriam of Ogden, Iowa, and Mrs. Arnold Jones of Lake City, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Arnold was a member of the Methodist church in Duncombe.
