Elsie Olson

Elsie Olson, 87, rural route #1, Story City, died Sunday evening, January 16, 1977 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Sheldahl of rural route Story City.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 1977 from the Salem Lutheran Church at Roland, The Rev. Everett Nelson will be in charge. Burial will be at the Story City Municipal Cemetery, Service at 1:30 p.m.

She is survived by four daughters, Alice (Mrs. John Sheldahl), Story City, Myrtle (Mrs. Henry Chapman) of Story City and Florence (Mrs. Chet Ramsey) of Roland, Iowa; Erma (Mrs. John Shorten), E. Mobile, Illinois; one son, J.M. Olson of Pontiac, Michigan; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Henderson of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Harry Rude of Jewell, Iowa and Miss Ellen Braland of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was precede in death by her husband, Nels P. Olson, one daughter and one son.
