Vivian Naurine Wood passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 in Katy, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Born in 1917 in Ventura, Iowa, Vivian was 91 on January 17. The 3rd of 4 daughters of Earl and Emma Forrester, Vivian is survived by her sister, Lois Wilke of Webster City, IA; daughter Tamara Kathy Wood; son Timothy Craig Wood, wife Tena, granddaughter Nicholette and grandson Noah of Katy, TX. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Everett C. Wood; mother, Emma (Thoe) Forrester; father, Earl Forrester of Webster City, IA; sisters Viola Vernon of Seattle, WA and Earleen Eckstein of La Mirada, CA. The service was held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Faith United Methodist Church, Richmond, TX. The celebration of Vivian’s life continued with a reception following the service at the home of Tim and Tena Wood, located at 23811 Legendary Lane, Katy, TX.
