Orville Owenson, Jr.

Orville G. Owenson, Jr. passed away on May 11, 1995 at Branson, Missouri of a heart attack and stroke. Orville was born June 13, 1932, to Orville and Myrtle Owenson at Randall, Iowa. He graduated from Randall High School in 1950 and later joined the Air Force for four years, serving 2 1/2 years in Japan as a teletype operator. He was discharged in 1955 and had lived in Missouri since the early 1960's.

He is survived by a son, Brian, of Berkeley, California, a daughter, Becky Kilpatrick, of Columbia, Missouri and one grandson, Ian Kilpatrick. Also surviving are four brothers, Curtis of Story City, Peter of Fort Dodge, Carroll of Dayton and David of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Dorothy Eller, of Woodland Park, Colorado, Mildred Boe of Jewell and Dolores Thompson of Ellsworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Charlotte Brown and Gladys Holm.

His body was cremated. A Military Memorial Service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church in Randall on June 10th at 10:00 a.m. with burial at Mr. Olive Cemetery.
