Mrs. Audrey Hill

Funeral services for Mrs. Oliver (Audrey) Hill, 49, or rural Williams will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams with the Rev. Gary Hatcher officiating and burial in the Rose Grove Cemetery near Williams.

Mrs. Hill died Thursday followiwng an automobile accident. She was taken to the hospital in Story City, but was dead on arrival.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Sunday when the casket will be taken to the church, where it will be closed.

Audrey Harman, daughter of Harry and Myrtle Swenson Harman, was born March 10, 1931, at Story City. She was reared and educated in Jewell and later attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She was married Sept 4, 1949, to H. Oliver Hill.

The couple lived in Ames until he was graduated from Iowa State College and they then moved to Aldie, Va., for a year. They returned to the Williams area and have farmed southwest of Williams since then. Mrs. Hill was employed part time at the Jewell Distributing Company.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters and one son, Mrs. Jim (Claudia) Juhl of Waverly, Mrs. Denny (Marcia) Haugen of Minneapolis, Gaynelle Hill of Ames and Doug Hill of Williams; two granddaughters, Tara Hill and Shannon Juhl; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Harman of Jewell; and a sister, Mrs. Sterling (Harriet) Stark of Chandler, Ariz.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams and had served as organist of the church for many years. She was also a member of the ALCW of the church and of Farm Bureau Women's committee.
