Webster City --Wahneeta W. Davis, 75, Cedar Rapids, former Webster City resident, died Thursday morning [April 1 1992] at the Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral Home, Webster City, with the Rev. Roy Miltner officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and until time of service at the funeral home.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Elm and Ronald Davis, Cedar Rapids; daughter Lynda Alpers, Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters, Zelpha Fuller and Bonnie Lyons, both of Webster City. She was preceeded in death by her son, Jackie Elm; her parents; and a brother, Lyle (Casey) Jones.

Wahneeta Winona Jones was born July 15, 1916 on a farm northwest of Webster City, and attended Webster City schools. In 1935 she married John Elm in Webster City. They farmed west of Webster City until divorcing in 1940. In 1943 she married Weldon Davis at Tustin, Calif., and they lived in California until moving to Webster City. They were divorced in 1965. In 1966 she moved to Cedar Rapids, where she attended Kirkwood Community College, receiving a medical assistant's degree. She was employed by the Cedar Rapids Community School System until her retirement in 1982.
