Obituary for H. E. Crouch printed 27 July 1945

Hermy E Crouch, son of Orrin and Anna Crouch, was born Dec. 25 1872 at Bostonville {Boscobel}, Wis. When he was seven years old , the family came to Webster City and he had made his home here since that time. For many years he had been a teamster, and he died at his work Saturday, July 21, 1945.

In 1900 he was married to Zoe Taylor and 11 children were born to this union.

Preceeding Mr.Crouch in death were his parents and two children, Mrs. John Robb and Hazel Irene; also a sister.

He is survived by his wife, who resides at 1520 Division street, and the following childeren: Calvin F., Orrin C., Lawrence D., Walter G., Mrs. Richard Dingman and Mrs. Cecil Gramblin, all of this city: Mrs. A. Coccetti of Fort Dodge; Mrs. Gene Claude of West Bend; and Carl who is station at Camp Crowder, Mo.; also there are 23 grandchildren; one grandson, Melvin Darnell, is serving with the U.S. army in France.

Two half sisters also survive, Mrs. Fred Jones of Independence and Mrs. Jimmie Jones of Webster City.
