MRS. JONES, 71 DIES AT HOME

Funeral Serves to Be Held at Foster's Monday at 2 P.M.
________

Mrs. Mary E. Jones, 71, died at her home, 1322 Second Street, at 7:45 a.m. today after a three weeks' illness. Death was caused by influenza and complications.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster funeral home, with the Rev. Dow Crewdson, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be made in the Duncombe cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born April 18, 1868 in Peoria, Ill., and moved to Duncombe 55 years ago, where she was married to Asa Jones. In 1900 they moved on the Harry Shipp farm, north of Webster City, where the lived until Mr.s Jones died in 190(3). In 1907 Mrs. Jones moved to Webster City.

A daughter, Mrs. Elmer Jaqus, died in 1918. She leaves five children: Joe, of Rockford, Ill.; Jim, of Webster City; Mrs. J. N. Smith, of Webster City; Grant, of Chicago, and Mrs. Hans Lindquist, of Webster City. There are 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. E Cook, of Clinton.

She was baptized in the Christian faith and was a member of the Church of Christ.
