Mrs. Brock, age 86, Dies
Funeral Services to be held Wednesday at the U.B. Church
Mrs. Rebecca Ann Brock, 86, died this morning at 12:15 at her home, 1223 Bank Street, death being caused by ailments incident to old age. She had been in poor health for some time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Brethren church. The Rev. L.F. Church will officiate and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.
Mrs. Brock was born in Darke County, Ohio, August 17, 1847 and had lived in Hamilton County, Iowa since the age of 4 years.
She leaves ten children to mourn her death. They are: Mrs. John Freeman of Minneapolis; Mrs. Robert Boyd of Des Moines; L.A. Brock of Macon, MO; Mrs. Robert Bringolf of this city; Mrs. R. D. Swing of Duncombe; C.A. Brock of Lake City; Mrs. William Sharkey of Hanley Falls, Minnesota; Mrs. Fred Miller of Webster City; Frank Brock of Hanley Falls; Mrs. Laura Sharkey, at home here.
There are also 38 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brock died Sept 2, 1925. He was a Civil war veteran.
