Blairsburg Young People Marry in Fort Dodge at Congregational Parsonage.

The Marriage of Miss Hazel Hunt, of Blairsburg, and Mr. Kenneth Coons, also of Blairsburg, was solemnized at the Congregational parsonage in Fort Dodge at high noon yesterday. Only the closest relatives of the couple were present.
Rev. Peter Young, of the First Congregational church of Fort Dodge, performed the ceremony, reading the single ring service.
Miss Nadine Robie, a classmate , served Miss Hunt as bridesmaid, while Mr. Boyd Hunt, brother of the bride, and a classmate of the groom, acted as best man.
The bride looked charming in a blue crepe satin dress with over-blouse and accessories to harmonize. Her attendant wore a tan georgette with hat to match.

Both Are Popular.
Mrs. Coons, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.L. Hunt, of Blairsburg, has grown to womanhood in that community, where she has made many friends by her unassuming manner and charming personality. She was graduated from the Blairsburg high school with the class of 1926 and has the record of not being tardy during her entire course. She is a past noble grand of Gold Leaf Rebekah lodge and has held the office of district deputy president the past year, and has received the appointment for the coming year. She has been a faithful worker in the church school and is at present a teacher in the primary department.
Mr. Coons is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Coons who reside three miles west of Blairsburg. Since his graduation from the Blairsburg high school with the class of 1926, he has been associated with his father in farming. He is known as a young man of sterling qualities and well worthy of the bride he has won.

Wedding Dinner.
Immediately following the ceremony a two course wedding dinner was served at the Virginia cafe in Fort Dodge. In the table decorations a color scheme of green and lavender predominated.
The young couple left overland for Rudd where they will spend a short honeymoon at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. John Moon, and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Coons have a host of friends who wish them a long and happy wedded life.
